Immediate Changes
1. Swelling: It is common to experience some swelling in the lips immediately after the procedure. This swelling is temporary and usually subsides within a few hours to a couple of days.
2. Redness: Your lips may appear more red or flushed immediately after the procedure. This is a normal reaction as the skin has been stimulated during the process.
3. Sensitivity: Your lips may feel more sensitive and tender immediately after the procedure. This sensitivity can vary from person to person but generally subsides within a few hours.
4. Color intensity: The color of your lips may appear much darker and more vibrant immediately after the procedure. This is due to the fresh application of pigment and will fade to the desired shade over the following weeks.
5. Dryness: Your lips may feel dry or chapped after the procedure. It is important to keep them moisturized with the provided healing ointment or balm to promote proper healing.
